Past events:

Polar Adventures Jean Troillet and the Out'cha team

The evening began with a presentation by the Out'cha team, an association whose aim is to promote social inclusion, self-fulfilment, the realization of dreams and sharing through sport, to encourage the practice of sport with respect for nature, to promote socio-cultural exchanges and the integration of sporting values in young people through sport and challenges. They presented a film shot in Canada's far north to raise funds.

The evening continued with the presence of Jean Troillet and 3 short films of his incredible exploits.

Thanks to Out'cha and Jean for your generosity in sharing this adventure.

120 people were present and had the opportunity to dream in front of the performances of our guests.

Thank you all for your generosity.

Lecture by Bertrand Dubuis who will talk about the future of our resort's facilities

Bertrand Dubuis explained the next challenges facing the Anzère resort, a projection that took us to 2050.

Our questions were all answered clearly and precisely.

No fewer than 40 ASPA members were present.

The conference ended with an aperitif and a meal at the Woodland restaurant.

Thanks to Bertrand for his explanations and transparency, and thanks to everyone for taking part.

Snow from A to Z, lecture by Robert Bolognesi

Robert Bolognesi is a snow expert who knows (almost) everything there is to know about snow. Using the alphabet, he shared his knowledge with us and answered our many questions.

Both realistic and reassuring, our snow isn't doing so badly after all.

No fewer than 70 people were in attendance, and had the opportunity to chat with Mr Bolognesi during the book-signing session.

Thank you all for your generosity.

Concert with panpipes, piano and paintbrushes

The evening was brought to life by three artists who took us on a journey to the sounds of the panpipes and the piano, accompanied by sublime watercolour drawings!

Many thanks to Jeanne, Victoria and Pauline.

More than 100 people came to join us at the Chapelle d'Anzère. Thank you for coming and thank you for your generosity!

The Bisses heritage at the service of today's water-related challenges

A fascinating talk on the bisses, their past, present and future. Water is becoming tomorrow's gold and Gaëtan Morard was delighted to talk to us about it in a positive way!

Thank you so much Gaëtan for this wonderful time in your company.

While you're enjoying our beautiful resort, you might like to support all the museum's activities. Yes? https://bisses-valais.ch/association-du-musee-valaisan-des-bisses-amvb/

Visit to the Air Glacier (ASPA) site

An exciting visit for ASPA members only.

Discovering the organisation and the lives of all these people dedicated to saving people is simply incredible and very reassuring!

Thank you to the staff for all your hard work and patience in answering all our questions. It was great!

Bike Family Nomads Conference (ASPA/Anzère-Tourisme)

Listening to the lives of this lovely family, it's hard not to dream of freedom and travel! Well, to follow them, you'll have to pedal a bit and enjoy life in a tent in all weathers!

But for one evening, it felt like it!

Thanks to Céline and Xavier, Nayla and Fibie for sharing!

Tendi Sherpa's lecture "Higher than Everest"

Tendi, with her joie de vivre and simplicity, took us to the top of the world.

A crazy world for an incredible life!

A big thank you to Tendi for allowing us to almost believe it! Thanks to Gaby for this wonderful presentation, to André for organising it and to Flore Dussey for her efficient supervision and her book.

Lecture by Martial Saugy, "Petit voyage en eaux troubles par amour du sport" (A voyage into troubled waters for the love of sport)

Martial showed us another side of sport, a darker and more Machiavellian side.... Doping exists, but what a hectic and dangerous life it is to try and combat it!

We were hanging on Martial's every word and his lecture could have gone on for hours!

All your generous donations went to the Swiss Transplant Team, represented by Liz Schick, who showed us a short film about her association. The Team will be going to the World Games in Perth.

A big thank you to Martial for his incredible conference and to Liz for her presence and her work for the Swiss Transplant Team.

Nathalie Manser's show "La légende oubliée"

Nathalie, playing her cello, takes us into her fairytale world.

In the chappelle d'Anzère, his notes resonated to make us forget time.

Thank you Nathalie, to you and your son Mahé, for this beautiful show and thank you to everyone for your presence and your generosity.

Conference and film by Karine Moix

Karine took us on a number of journeys: Nepal, so dear to her heart, the Via Alpina and her inner journey "In Search of Myself".

We were all moved and dazzled by the magnificent images and the generosity and courage of this simple, true woman.

Thank you Karine for this special moment and thank you all for your donations for these families in Nepal.

Visit to the Pellet Heating Plant

Many thanks to Albert Bétrisey for his highly informative visit to "http://www.chauffageboisanzere.ch", the pellet-fired heating plant at the entrance to Anzère.

This is the largest wood-fired heating plant in Central Europe, enabling the resort to save over 1.5 million litres of fuel oil a year by heating most of the village's buildings and the Spa and Wellness Centre in an environmentally-friendly way.

Albert was able to convey his enthusiasm for the project.

The visit ended with an aperitif and a tasting of Sushi made in Switzerland.

Thanks also to Dspa and Anzère Tourime for lending us the tents so we could all get together in the dry!

Discovering bees and their environment

Interview with Odile Mermoud, Swiss beekeeper and founder of the Vaud-based apiary La Miellerie

True sentinels of the environment and biodiversity, the little fairies in their yellow and black dresses offer us much more than the sweet nectar that is honey: a unique insight into the fragile balance of the world and nature. A gateway to humility and simplicity, too...

Thank you Odile for your passion, which you have passed on to us so well!

You can visit her and buy jars of honey.
